Texas Post Oak is a traditional Southern style BBQ cooking wood. Post Oak is very popular for its unique, mildly smoky flavor, and can be mixed with other hard woods cto create an exceptional one of a kind flavor. Post Oak is rapidly becoming a favorite among the best Pit Masters in the restaurant industry. Excellent coaling properties and long burn time makes Post Oak wood a great choice for rotisserie, open flame grilling, pizza bread ovens and of course off set fire box barbecue and smokers.
Post Oak compliments a wide variety of proteins such as beef brisket, pork shoulder and ribs for the low and slow BBQ. Post Oak is also great for open flame grilling, commonly used to prepare "surf and turf" combinations.
Cooking Wood products are naturally seasoned cut 16" to 18" in length and 2" to 6" in diameter.
